Professional IT by Brandon Beeson
My journey with technology started in the early 90s, hunched over a Macintosh playing games and exploring what was possible. What began as a childhood fascination evolved into a career dedicated to demystifying technology for others.
Currently, I serve as a Lead Technology Support Specialist, where I oversee IT infrastructure and support for over 20,000 users. I believe that technical support isn't just about fixing a device, it's about teaching people how their tools work so they can use them with confidence and without fear.
When I'm not managing enterprise systems, you’ll find me in my Home Lab. It’s my personal playground where I host media servers, experiment with private cloud services, and integrate smart home devices into my Apple HomeKit environment.
I am also an avid Ham Radio Operator (KO6HWR). I enjoy the unique challenge of designing antennas, testing radio setups, and establishing contacts across the country and around the globe. This hobby keeps me grounded in the fundamentals of signal, hardware, and communication infrastructure.
After years of helping friends and family navigate the digital world, I decided to offer my services to the wider community. Whether it's setting up a secure Home NAS or troubleshooting a home network, I treat every project with the same security and precision I use in professional environments.
